Children With Special Needs

We are a small private school with limited resources compared to public schools and other larger private schools.  Public schools receive additional funding for students with special needs and hire specialized staff to serve their unique needs.  Canterbury Classical School does admit some students with special needs when we believe we can truly serve and educate them. Students with special learning needs will be handled on a case-by-case basis and we look forward to discussing the ability of our staff to adequately address and meet your child's needs in a typical classroom setting.

Please visit ncreportcards.org to investigate various schools' success with students who have special needs.

Canterbury provides one of the best educations in the Asheville/ Buncombe County area, as well as instilling spiritual principles and a caring environment.
